We are celebrating two very special birthdays this week! The first two alpacas born on our farm, Annabel and Oliver, were born 18 hours apart 18 years ago! Happy Birthday to Annabel (today 7/26) and Oliver (tomorrow 7/27)! Both of you will always be special in our hearts! 💞 🦙 🥳 (photo of Oliver, front and Annabel, behind at approximately 6 months old.)
Fun Facts: Annabel was born on our wedding ANNiversary, and she is named for the Poe poem, Annabel Lee. And Oliver’s full name is Oliver Twist (for the book and the fact that he looked like a little beggar boy with his birth membrane tearing off as he tried to walk around). Tish named both after literary characters in keeping with her former vocation as a high school librarian.
