With all of this rain have you checked your local streams health lately.

Do you know how to keep your stream healthy? Check out this short video from our Stewardship Project Coordinator, Celia Vuocolo, as she highlights the importance of protecting a stream’s riparian buffer to enhance water quality and wildlife habitat. A riparian buffer is vegetation that is grows on both sides of a stream or river.

If you have a water body on your property and are interested in learning about technical assistance or financial support to plant a riparian buffer, contact our Stewardship team at 908-396-7413
