This exciting musical program includes “Wood Works,” a selection of Nordic folk tunes for string quartet — hauntingly beautiful, similar to Irish and American fiddling music, and adapted for flute and strings in some pieces — along with two arrangements of “New Tango” by Pablo Zeigler, and a masterpiece by Felix Mendelssohn, his quintet for strings in A Major Op. 18.
