You’re OTTER this world!! 🦦

Hi, Hermey the elf here. I went to visit the otters today and met up with my old friend, Mork. He’s on the left in this photo and he introduced me to his friend, Ariel. She arrived at the zoo last February. Mork and Ariel are North American river otters, which is a species native to NJ. They LOVE water and have lots of adaptations for aquatic life, like streamlined bodies, webbed feet, and sensitive whiskers that help them get around!
